Eating Out
The Five Pilchards pub in the village is currently open all year round serving meals
all week -
The Coastpath
We are approximately 1.5 minutes walk from the South West Coastpath. Porthallow
is the halfway point -
Diving
This is very popular in the area due to the wrecks and the wildlife. Porthkerris dive centre and Dive Action are just around the corner.
Wildlife
There’s plenty to see from buzzards to wrens, basking sharks to seals, highland cows to camels!
Gardens
Not far away is the Helford River where Trebah and Glendurgan Gardens are situated. Trevarno, north east of Helston, also has a fascinating museum of gardening and, on the Lizard itself, there are other private gardens and the lovely Bosahan.
Art Galleries
Visit Porthallow Arts for gifts for yourself or for others. There are many galleries on the Lizard displaying work by local artists that you may not see anywhere else.
Standing stones,
bronze age settlements, historical sites and satellites -
on the Lizard peninsula
...and we have one or two beaches as well!
